Payment & Pricing
Service pricing is discussed prior to the start of your appointment. Payment is due in full at the time of service.

Hair Extensions
All extension hair must be purchased before booking the installation session. Extension purchases are non-refundable.
Color Consultations & Deposits
A consultation is required for all new color clients prior to booking. Consultations may be completed in person, over text, or via the Color Consultation Form on our website.
During the consultation, you and your stylist will review:
- Desired outcome
- Hair history
- Maintenance expectations
- Budget and pricing
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure color appointments. This deposit will be applied to the final service total upon completion.
Please note: Some stylists require deposits for all color services, regardless of client history.
Service Adjustments & Satisfaction
We are committed to high standards, transparency, and thoughtful service.
- Refunds are not issued for services rendered.
- If a concern arises, management will assess the situation and determine an appropriate resolution. This may include a service adjustment, correction appointment, salon credit, or product compensation.
Clients must notify the salon within 7 days of their appointment to request a service adjustment. Adjustment appointments must be scheduled through the salon.
We welcome feedback and view corrections as part of our commitment to quality.
Product Returns
We carefully curate the products we carry and encourage sampling prior to purchase when possible.
- Unopened or lightly used products may be exchanged for another product or salon credit.
- Full refunds are issued only in cases of allergic reaction, product defect, or manufacturer error, and must be requested within 15 days of purchase with the product returned.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation Policy
Appointments are reserved exclusively for you and your service provider. We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to a 50% charge of all scheduled services.
- No-show appointments (no call, no arrival) are subject to a 50% charge of all scheduled services.
- Clients with a no-show history may be required to place a $50 non-refundable booking deposit for future appointments. This deposit will be applied to your service total when your appointment is completed.
Late Arrivals
To respect our schedule and all booked guests:
- Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may result in:
- A modified service
- A shortened appointment
- Or rescheduling to a later date
- In some cases, late arrivals may be treated as a same-day cancellation.
Illness & Emergencies
We understand that illness and unexpected emergencies can occur. If this applies to you, please notify us as soon as possible and we will make reasonable accommodations.
For the health and safety of our guests and team:
- If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, please stay home and contact us to reschedule.
- Appointments impacted by verified illness or emergencies may be rescheduled without penalty at our discretion.
Weather-Related Closures
In cases of severe or unsafe weather conditions:
- Cancellation fees will not be enforced when travel is deemed unsafe.
- If the salon must close due to weather, Black Moon Collective will contact all scheduled guests and arrange rescheduling as soon as possible.
- If the salon is open and operating safely, standard cancellation policies apply.
